Ageing Gracefully

Have you ever wondered why in some cultures, such as India, men and women are revered in the senior years for their wisdom, whilst in some Western cultured old age is feared and is associated with senility and burdensome for the rest of the population? In one culture, the old are loved and respected by all. In the other, the old are ignored and left to carers to help with their final years. Just something to think about. After all, unless we have a tragic death at young age, we all grow old.

Love and gratitude,
