After some deep introspection, I realised that although I was excellent in a number of areas, my heart was not completely in many of those areas. So, decided that I would do a New Year’s clean of my own activities. This has left me with one area in which I love and that generates a regular income and the one area I am most passionate about – sharing with audiences and readers the importance of working with their Higher Self and being very discerning about what is real and what are fantasies. Thus, in 2012, I will be focusing much more on working with people who are on a spiritual path whilst maintaining a fulfilling human life.

Like many, there was natural resistance to me letting go of my many planned activities. What would my family say? Won’t I be disappointing those who have invested so much of their time with me? Blah, blah, blah! I realised that is just my ego talking. 2012 cannot be a year where emotional is invested in the graveyard of yesterday nor even in the vagueness of tomorrow’s dream. The reality is today, right here and right now. Shifts happen. As my friend David Hyner suggests, they happen one micro-decision at a time.

So I share with you these questions to ponder on:

1. What are the activities that you are most passionate about?
2. What activities are draining you most?
3. How much are you willing to cut out or eradicate draining activities and when will you start?
4. What will you be doing more of that is aligned with your passion? When?

The answers are manifold. First, the etymology of ‘resolution’ is ‘to resolve’ or ‘to dissolve’. This pressuposes there is a problem to fix in the first place. As the conscious mind is a mere 5% of the entire mind at best, the subconscious and the unconscious mind work become problem-focused instead of ‘solution-based’. Thus, changing the approach from ‘resolution’ to an ‘intention’, for example, is far more powerful in attaining one’s goals.

Second, having an intention (resolution) with the intellect alone is nothing more than wishful thinking. When one aligns their intention with positive thoughts/goal, feelings, intuition, the physical body and their non-judgemental, non-critical observer, the probability of success is infinitely higher. One of the common traits of the 12% who have been successful in realising their resolutions is having a powerful, systematic goal-setting system. One such system is known as the Massive Goal Principle, which was devised by David Hyner following more than 12 year’s of research into the thinking and behaviour of top achievers.

Third, another important reason why resolutions fail is that the human mind is feeble when it comes to changing habits. Habits are stubborn routines that do not like change. Whilst changing one habit is hard enough, most people try to change several in one go. The conscious mind can only focus on a few things at a time. Dealing with everyday life stressors AND changing one’s habits is a step too far. The probability of successfully changing habits increase significantly when they are done one habit at a time over a course of a year. It is better to work for 30 days at a time on changing from an old bad habit to a new empowering one.

Fourth, the power of language cannot be underestimated when it comes to making New Year’s Resolutions. Far too many people focus on losing or quitting something and then they wonder why they fail so gloriously. NLP practitioners will be more than willing to tell you that the subconscious minds does not operate on a negative system of commands. When a person tells themselves they wish to lose weight, they may go to sleep hoping and praying they will be slimmer. However, the powerful subsconscious mind is reminded it has a lot of weight and, consequently, goes to sleep as a fat person. Changing one’s language and self-affirmations to positive, solution-orientated goals increases the likelihood of attaining the goal.

There is much more that can be said about resolutions, but I wish to finish on one note. When one operates from a place of hopes, dreams and aspirations alone, they are more likely to be gullible to the many illusions created by society. The human mind falling foul to these illusions become enslaved. When one becoming more discerning about false beliefs that they have as well as the ones propagated by society, they are less likely to have expectations. The greater the gap between one’s expectations and REALITY, the greater the disappointment. It is not about changing one’s life that matters so much. It is about transformation and making a difference. One cannot hope to transform something if they do not know what that something is. Thus, I ask readers this: Get to know YOUR SELF. Gain knowledge and understanding of who and what you really are. Take the necessary action to align the faculties of your being/mind – your thoughts, feelings, intuition, physical body and your observer self. Then, one opens themselves up to becoming a centre for receiving vision. They become what is known as a ‘true visionary’.

“Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?”

Perhaps she should have been asking:

“What kind of species have humans turned out to be that they send their greatest heroes to their deaths en masse?”

How is it that humans puts such little value on the lives of the most courageous and able bodied young men and women? Why is war the most covered news subject across mainstream media? Every year, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions across the world keep two minutes of silence in memory of those who died particularly during the First World War (1914-1918). This is known as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day. The First World War was supposedly the war that would end all wars. Twenty-one years later, a far more devastating war raged across the globe. Given the horrendous casualties such conflicts led to, logic would dictate that remembering the dead would perhaps slow down human conflict if not stop it all together. Not true.

World War I claimed sixteen million lives and left twenty-one million more were wounded. It was never going to be the war that would end all wars. The Second World War followed the World War I and involved numerous countries across the planet. Straight after that calamity a new military standoff, the ‘Cold War’, was borne out of competition between the USA and the Soviet Union, the repercussions of which are still felt to this day. Wars usually involved one community or group of communities accusing the other of one thing or another. Accusations are wide and varied.

For example, one nation armed to the teeth with nuclear, biological and chemical weapons will accuse another country of possessing weapons of mass destruction (WMD) or preparing to be a nuclear armed nation. One ethnic minority group who possess a small number of cows will accuse another group have different size herds that they are mistreating the first group. One religious group, believing they have chosen God’s path will claim they have more right over one piece of land than another group. So, they kill each other in the name of peace and in the name of God.

Clearly, there is deep-seated aggression embedded in the psyche of all human beings. Thankfully, this aggressive nature is not acted upon in most cases. Nonetheless, any experienced psychiatrist will tell you it is not too difficult to trigger such a highly aggressive human disposition. In 1961, Professor Stanley Milgram began a series of experiments to test the level of obedience volunteers would exhibit to an authority figure in inflicting pain to fellow humans. Milgram’s colleagues at Yale University were polled to establish what proportion of the volunteers would subject their targets to electric shock. The psychologists believed this would be an average of 1.2%. Numerous tests yielded similar results. The original experiment resulted in 65% of participants administering cruelty to other humans despite their deep conscience and regret.

Since the end of the Second World War, human civilisation has technologically advanced exponentially. Healthcare systems can now cure many more diseases, people live longer, personal wealth is greater and the public have global awareness thanks to the internet and the mobile phone. Surely, there should be fewer conflicts in the world? One would think so. In reality, humans have been at war with each other for 97% of the time in the last 100 years! According to official statistics provided by the SIPI Yearbook, the global spend on weapons estimated for 2011 was $1.06-1.449 trillion! That’s just the official statistics. The black market for weapons is possibly the biggest market for any kind of trade.

What is the motivation for taking the lives of so many men, women and children with little regret? Given the vast sums of money involved in the weapons industry, does it come as a surprise that the number one motivation for war is money? The so-called ‘Defence Industry’ does not work in isolation. Every conflict means significant damage to a countries industrial infrastructure, such as factories, offices, utility companies, government buildings, hospitals, schools and roads. Enter the building contractors, usually large developed countries. In addition, weapons do not pay for themselves. Enter central banks and merchant banks. These profiteers are collectively known as the ‘Military-Industrial Complex’.

The Military-Industry Complex are run by companies that are often larger than entire nations by GDP (Gross Domestic Product). Their owners are men who are part of the ruling elite and control the media, politics as well as world economics. During war, whilst the public purses are depleted of funds, these men get even more wealthy. Whilst the many dispossessed of their homes and businesses, the ruling elite amass vast fortunes. The desire for gaining more power and control far outweighs the respect for human life. In fact,  by virtue of their action, certain interest groups believe they are the ‘Chosen Ones’ and are much more superior version of the species. The ‘lower classes’ merely exist to serve their agenda and are, in essence, quite disposable. Profits rule and human lives are expendable.

The mass media are effectively the mouthpieces of the ruling elite. Propaganda is circulated at an alarming rate via newspapers, radio and television. The education system of most countries are blatantly one-sided. After all, is it not the victors who write history? What of their victims? Today’s modern political system is merely theatrics played by actors who are too ill-trained o be allowed onto the Big Screen. As politicians are funded mainly by corporations and private interest lobbyists, their pay mere lip service to ‘democracy’. Ostensibly, once in power, politicians serve the interests of their paymasters. This was distinctly demonstrated by Tony Blair and George Bush’s dogged determination to prove that President Saddam Hussein of Iraq was harbouring weapons of mass destruction. That was all they needed to invade and occupy Iraq. Needless to say, no such weapons were found with Blair still justifying his reasons for the aggression.

Not only do much of the media act as the mouthpiece for the ruling elite, they also use it as a recruiting ground for young people to join the military forces. It is these people who are sent out to war. It is these brave humans who also give up their lives for a cause they are unaware of. By bombarding the public with news that convinces the other guys are evil, the media effectively silence any voice daring to give a different perspective to government spin. But, hey! We must never forget that profits in our country are more important the loss of lives in others.

Therefore, there is little surprise to discover that entire economies have been purposely brought to near bankruptcy in order for the ruling elite to take over and control even more. Greece has been steadily decimated to the point that, should it collapse, it may bring the Euro to an end.  Italy looks like it may follow suit. Both countries are experiencing turbulence in their national leadership and aiming to replace their leaders, probably with a member of the banking elite.

On the subject of humans moving away from nature, Natural News reports that there is  further evidence that microwave ovens are causing leaching of toxic substances into food. In fact, during two of my interviews in the past 18 months, two scientists hypothesised that, on consuming microwaved foods, the human brain reads that it is at the early stages of cancer. Even though, much more evidence is required to ‘prove’ microwaved food causes cancer, I am erring on the side of caution.

To say that humans are facing the most troubled times in its entire history, would be an understatement. This was an era that was predicted by numerous ancient wisdom keepers. It is because we are in the midst of our darkest hour, we now have a chance to shine the brightest. During my interview with Dr Jude Currivan, author and healer, she puts forward the case for a positively bright future. However, there is much healing that is needed for individuals, the entire species and Mother Earth.

ABOUT BERIT REAVER

Berit is from Denmark and is living in Norway as well as is traveling in many countries with lectures, courses, and receiving clients for private consultations. Berit’s dedicated focus is on the New Time energy. Her approach to bringing the awareness of the implications of this new energy structure, with its related opportunities and life values, out into the open is simple and direct.

Berit was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1976 and moved to Norway in 2004 where she now lives with her American husband. Together they have worked closely with Anni Sennov, the founder of AuraTransformation™, on the English translation and rewriting of her book ‘Crystal Children, Indigo Children and Adults of the Future’ released 2006. Since 2001 Berit has worked full time with AuraTransformation™.

Since 2004 the interest for AuraTransformation™ has increased significantly, which is why Berit is travelling a lot to train new Aura Mediators™ in several countries, and to give lectures about the Indigo and Crystal Children and the Crystallizing Process, as well as giving private consultations. Furthermore, she is helping new instructors to establish AuraTransformation™ and the Aura Mediator Courses™ in their own countries.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should drink every day?

COKE

1. In many states in the US, the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the ‘real thing’ sit for one hour, then flush clean.
4. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. (Make sure you do not inhale fumes).
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mixwith the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: empty a can of Coke into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loose grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup! (the concentrate) the commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean engines of the trucks for about 20 years!

According to 2010 figures, approximately 1.6 billion drinks are served everyday by the Coca Cola company – 78% 0f these drinks are Coke. the 1.6 billion drinks make Coca Cola one billion pounds a year in revenue. So the chances of Coke being withdrawn from our grocery shop shelves is unlikely to happen! This corporate giant has only one purpose – to make profits – at any cost.

After my Live Blood Analysis, I did some further research and discovered that Coke has a pH value of approximately 2.8, i.e. slightly less acidic than concentrated Sulphuric acid.Now the question is, would you like a glass of water? or Coke?
