Tax – can we pay LESS and get MORE?

Money is one of the biggest illusions. However, in the illusory existence of modern society, it is even more important to understand the rules of the game. Make no mistake. It is a game. During The Money Maverick Show, Marcus Matthews will be investigating with Jonathan Isaby on tax and if the public can pay less and get more. After graduating from the University of York in 1999, Jonathan embarked upon a career in journalism at the BBC as a political analyst in the Westminster newsroom, and four years later was recruited by the Daily Telegraph. He spent five years there – as deputy editor of the paper’s diary column and latterly writing his own daily political column – before joining the leading political website ConservativeHome.com as Co-Editor in November 2008: this made him the first journalist from a British national newspaper to leave the mainstream media to work full time in the blogosphere and subsequently the first professional “blogger” to be accredited with a Lobby pass by the House of Commons authorities. In August 2011 Jonathan joined the TaxPayers’ Alliance as its first Political Director, a role in which he is ensuring that the TPA’s messages are reverberating around the corridors of power in Westminster and Whitehall. A regular political pundit and newspaper reviewer on radio and television, he helped research Dean Godson’s acclaimed biography of David Trimble, Himself Alone. His own first book –Boris v Ken: How Boris Won London, co-written with Giles Edwards – was published in June 2008.

See you there!
